# Invite a partner

> Create a two-person Miyo household, invite your partner, confirm membership, and decide which financial accounts and activity you want to share.

A Miyo household lets two people coordinate money without combining every account. You can start solo and invite a partner later.

<Info>
  Household sharing can depend on your Miyo plan or access. If the invite flow shows an upgrade, review the plan details before continuing.
</Info>

## Send an invite

  <Step title="Open Household settings">
    Open **Settings → Household** or **Settings → Relationship** and select **Invite your partner**.

  </Step>

  <Step title="Share the invite link if needed">
    After Miyo creates the invite, copy the displayed link. Send it directly if the email does not arrive.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for acceptance">
    The invite remains pending until your partner opens it, signs in or creates an account, and accepts. Invites expire after seven days.
  </Step>

## Manage a pending invite

Use **Resend** to replace the old invite with a new link and expiration date. Use **Cancel invite** when the address was wrong or the invitation should no longer work.

<Warning>
  Treat an invite link like private access. Send it only to the intended person and cancel it if it is posted or forwarded somewhere unexpected.
</Warning>

## What joining does not do

Joining a household does not give a partner your bank password, let them move money, or let them override your per-account privacy choice.
