# Confirm recurring payments

> Review repeating charges detected from transaction history, confirm or dismiss recurring items, and use Miyo's upcoming-payment projections responsibly.

Miyo looks for repeating patterns in your transaction history. Recurring detection is an estimate, so review suggestions before relying on an upcoming amount or date.

## Review suggestions

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Recurring">
    Open **Recurring**. If Miyo found new candidates, select **Review**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Read the evidence">
    Compare the merchant, account, recent occurrences, expected cadence, and typical amount.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a verdict">
    Select **Confirm** for a real repeating charge, **Not recurring** for a false match, or **Skip** when you want to decide later.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review Upcoming">
    Use the **Upcoming** view to see confirmed or detected charges expected soon. Check the institution before making a time-sensitive payment decision.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Why the estimate can change

* A merchant posts under a new name.
* The amount varies beyond the earlier pattern.
* A pending transaction becomes posted with different details.
* A subscription changes price or cadence.
* Too little transaction history is available.

<Warning>
  An upcoming recurring item is not a bill-payment instruction. Miyo cannot schedule, cancel, or pay the charge for you.
</Warning>

## If a charge is missing

Confirm that the account has synced recent transactions and that the merchant appears more than once. A new subscription may need additional history before Miyo can identify a reliable pattern.
