Bank sync may require a paid plan, private-beta access, or Plaid availability. If Connect Bank shows Bank Sync Pending, use a manual account or CSV import for now.
What Miyo requests
Miyo uses Plaid Link so you choose the institution and accounts you want to share. The connection requests account and transaction information for budgeting, spending, and account summaries.- Miyo does not receive or store your online banking username or password.
- Miyo is read-only and cannot move, hold, or transfer money.
- You can disconnect an institution from Miyo later.
Connect your accounts
1
Start from Accounts
Open Accounts and select Connect Bank.
2
Review the disclosure
Read the Connect with Plaid disclosure, then select Continue. Select Cancel if you do not want to share account information.
3
Choose your institution
In Plaid Link, search for your financial institution and complete the institution’s sign-in and verification steps.
4
Choose accounts
Select only the accounts you want to add to Miyo, then approve the connection.
5
Wait for the first import
Return to Accounts. Miyo imports transactions in the background, so the account can appear before all recent activity does.
A successful connection shows the institution under Accounts or Settings → Linked accounts. Review the balance and recent transactions before using them in your plan.
If your institution is missing
Plaid availability varies by institution and account type. You can:- Search using the institution’s full name or web address.
- Try again after the institution resolves an outage.
- Add the account manually.
- Export transactions from the institution and import a CSV.
