Your Miyo account can contain sensitive financial information. Protect the email account and devices you use to access it as carefully as Miyo itself.
Security checklist
- Use a unique password that you do not reuse on another service.
- Enable multi-factor authentication from your security settings when available.
- Store recovery codes somewhere separate from the device you normally use.
- Sign out on shared devices.
- Review unexpected verification or password-reset messages before acting.
Multi-factor authentication
Miyo supports additional verification flows, including authenticator-based setup. Follow the enrollment instructions in Settings, then confirm that a recovery method is available before leaving the page.
Miyo support will not ask for your password, authenticator secret, one-time verification code, recovery code, Plaid credential, or full bank account number.
If you suspect unauthorized access
- Change your Miyo password from a trusted device.
- Secure the email account connected to Miyo.
- Review household membership and account visibility.
- Contact security@joinmiyo.com with a description of what you observed.
Do not include secrets or complete financial account numbers in the report.
