Miyo applies household visibility per account. Open Privacy Center to review every account before relying on a shared dashboard or report.

Choose a visibility state

Hidden is broader than Private. Hidden accounts are excluded from your own normal dashboard totals and reports as well as household views.

Change an account

1

Open Privacy Center

Open Privacy Center and review the Shared, Private, and Hidden counts at the top.
2

Find the account

Confirm the account name, institution, type, and balance so you do not change a similarly named account.
3

Choose the new state

Select Private, Shared, or Hidden, then confirm the change if Miyo asks.
4

Preview the partner view

Use the partner-view preview to check what the new household view will reveal.
5

Review the audit log

The Privacy audit log records visibility changes so you can see which account changed and when.

Goals and debt use separate sharing rules

  • A personal savings goal stays yours.
  • Share with Partner lets a partner see a goal’s progress.
  • A joint goal lets both partners contribute.
  • Shared debt can reveal payment timing for coordination while keeping APR and payoff strategy private.
Account visibility controls do not change ownership at the financial institution and do not grant transaction or money-movement authority.
