Find the transactions that need attention

- Choose Uncategorized to focus on missing categories.
- Filter by account, type, or date.
- Use Expenses, Income, Transfers, or Refunds when a total looks wrong.
Review a transaction
1
Open the transaction
Select a transaction row to view its details. Confirm the owner, account, date, amount, and type.
2
Correct the name and category
Edit the merchant name or choose the category badge when those controls are available. A category change affects related budget and spending views.
3
Add useful context
Add notes or tags when you will need to find the transaction later. Mark tax-deductible activity only when that label is meaningful to your own record keeping.
4
Adjust how planning treats it
Turn on Exclude from budgets for activity that should not count against category budgets. Review transfers carefully so moving money between your own accounts is not treated as spending.
5
Mark it reviewed
Use Mark as reviewed after the details are correct. This separates checked activity from items that still need attention.
Split one purchase across categories
If Split transaction appears, use it when one purchase belongs to more than one category. Enter a category and amount for each split line; the lines must reconcile to the original transaction total before Miyo can save them.Transaction splits, tags, household settle-up tools, and some review controls can depend on your Miyo access or enabled features. If a control is absent, you can still correct the transaction’s main category and details.
