Miyo offers two ways to plan spending. Both use your categories, but they answer different questions.

Simple

Set monthly category limits and compare spending against them. Choose this when you want a lighter planning routine.

Advanced

Assign money to envelopes that roll over, organize groups, and create savings envelopes. Choose this when you want to track what remains available.

How to decide

Open Budget, select Monthly budget, then use the Simple or Advanced control. You can also review the mode from relationship settings.
Switching modes changes how the Budget page represents planned and available money. Review your categories and totals after a change before making financial decisions from the new view.
